These terms are the agreement between you and wheeev. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use wheeev.
You must be at least 16 years old. wheeev is built around meeting people in person to ride and drive, and that is not a service we offer to children.
One account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since your email is how you sign in.
Do not use wheeev to:
What you post stays yours. By posting it you give wheeev permission to store and display it in the app so the app can work — showing your meet on the board, delivering your message to a conversation, showing your photo on your profile. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep something to comply with the law.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on wheeev. Objectionable content includes anything listed under “What you may not do” above — harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, content involving a minor, and anything illegal.
Reports are acted on within 24 hours. When content is reported, we review it and remove anything that breaks these terms, and we suspend or permanently remove the account that posted it.
We may remove content and suspend or permanently ban accounts, at our discretion, when we believe these terms have been broken — and we may do so without notice. Group owners and admins may also silence, remove, or ban members of their own groups.
wheeev also filters posts and messages automatically, and will refuse content containing slurs or other objectionable language. Automatic filtering is not a substitute for reporting — if you see something that breaks these terms, report it.
You can report a message, a meet, or a person from inside the app, and you can block someone so neither of you sees the other. Blocking takes effect immediately and is mutual: their content disappears from your app, and yours from theirs.
By using wheeev you agree not to post objectionable content and not to abuse other users. Doing so ends your access to the app.
wheeev does not organise, run, vet, or supervise meets, and does not vet the people who use it. A meet is arranged between users. We are not a party to it.
You are responsible for your own safety and for your own vehicle — including holding a valid licence and insurance, keeping your vehicle roadworthy, and obeying all traffic laws. Riding and driving carry risk, and so does meeting people you do not know. Use your judgement, and ride within your ability.
Sharing your location is optional and you control it. You choose when to share on a ride, and which private groups may see you, and you can stop either at any time. What is collected and how long it is kept is set out in the privacy policy.
wheeev is provided "as is". We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we do not guarantee that any meet will happen, or that anyone is who they say they are.
To the maximum extent the law allows, wheeev is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising out of your use of the app, including conduct by other users or anything that happens at a meet. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. If your account ends, the sections that by their nature should survive — your content licence for anything already shared, the limitation of liability, and these terms themselves — continue to apply.
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will update the date at the top of this page and ask you to accept the new terms in the app. Continuing to use wheeev after that means you accept them.
